The shelter contains a full commercial kitchen as well as additional resident kitchens. The shelter provides extensive support for current and past residents, with a separate street entrance for former residents to provide privacy for those currently living in the shelter. For current residents, separate program spaces are provided for school age children and children & youth, together with a homework/computer room.
The shelter is pet-friendly, allowing families to keep their pet with them in their room, allowing women and their children fleeing abuse, trauma and homelessness to keep their pet with them when they come to the shelter. A shared pet care room is also provided.
