MCC Social Hall

Since 1973, Metropolitan Community Church Toronto has been helping shape Canadian values of inclusion, diversity, and equality. A place of worship and a place of action, MCC Toronto is a vibrant and progressive church rooted in the Christian tradition and the 2SLGBTQ+ community, open and welcoming to everyone, with a Human Rights Centre that is fiercely committed to social justice.

Renovations to an existing kitchen, several community meeting spaces and the Social Hall were completed in March 2023. As part of the renovations, removing a dropped ceiling in the double height Social Hall revealed clerestory windows that had been previously concealed. Reinstating these high windows was transformative for the space allowing the previously dark interior to be flooded with natural light.

A curved wood feature screen provides a new focal point for the room and the new upgraded kitchen and community meeting spaces allow on site catering for the many events and gatherings that take place there.
