About us 

Hilditch Architect was founded in 1985 by Charles Rosenberg and Steve Hilditch and since then has focussed on the areas of community health, affordable and transitional housing, food security, community hubs, child care, and other community-based services.

Charles and Steve retired in 2023 and Principals Mary O’Neill, Ken DeWaal, Breagh McKeough and Caroline Howes took up leadership. HAI’s commitment to the not-for-profit sector remains steadfast.

Our firm consists of 14 people and we are based in downtown Toronto, working both in office and from home.
