The upper level includes the main community engagement spaces such as the community kitchen, lounge, and larger program rooms.The common response from the community is of delight in that they have been provided a place that is welcoming dignified and engaging and that reflects true interest and care of their community.

From the main entry, clear sight lines to the reception, the community room, and a skylit living wall backing onto the elevator by a stair leading to the community health centre in the lower level help new arrivals understand how to navigate through the space.

The large community room is accessible from the main entry, and is adjacent to the community kitchen. The two storey living wall also provides a focal point for orienting the main floor community spaces, and the skylight above brings daylight deep into the floor plate of the standard commercial plaza space.

The stair to the lower level leads to the community health centre. At the level of the basement Community Health Centre, the atrium brings natural daylighting from above, and the rejuvenating scents of the plants and the tranquil sounds of the adjacent water feature to the reception and waiting area of the CHC.
