Hilditch
Architect is committed to providing support to both clients
and end users in a way that helps make the process of
creating the built environment more understandable and
approachable. We believe that the natural environment
should not be compromised by the built environment.
Our work is based upon a set of beliefs that include an
emphasis on process as an important partner in the final
execution of the work. This makes communication, patience,
sensitivity and respect for other points of view important
for the successful outcome of the project.
We mediate between the many interests that influence a
project. We establish common ground through a thorough
understanding of the issues, and, through honesty and
experience, we seek to suggest a compromise that balances
the constraints and the desires of the people whose
interests are represented and affected by the execution of
the work.
We seek to foster community development through our
projects, and to empower our projects' end users. We frame
the larger scale of projects into smaller, more familiar
groupings based on an understanding of how people operate
and what is needed to feel at home.
Hilditch Architect upholds equal opportunity and
non-discrimination policies by which discrimination on the
grounds of race, creed, colour, national origin, political
or religious affiliation, gender, sexual orientation, age,
marital status, family relationship, and disability are
prohibited by or within the firm.
